MUMBAI: Maruti Suzuki, India's largest carmaker by number of vehicles sold, is organising promos, holding Mileage rallies and other events to take competition head on, especially after the launch of Honda's latest offering, Amaze.
A day after Honda launched Amaze, Maruti Suzuki hit back with its limited edition DZire, called Regal, and the company is planning its first major customer-marketing initiative for its compact sedan Dzire — Dezirable mileage rally — this Sunday simultaneously across 30 cities, including metros, state capitals and tier-II cities like Karnal and Raipur.
