It promises to be the most anticipated of films this summer when Iron Man 3 has it’s nationwide US film at the El Capitan and TCL Chinese Theatres in Hollywood, CA,. The event saw Iron Man Robert Downey, Jr. driving up to the event in a super Tony Stark vehicle, the 2014 Audi R8 Spyder.

Gwyneth Paltrow was also seen arriving at the venue in an Audi R8L TDI while director Shane Black, cast members Sir Ben Kingsley, Rebecca Hall, Guy Pearce, Jon Favreau and others graced the occasion with their presence. Celebrities arrived in Audi clean diesel vehicles which included the A8L and Q7 TDI. The third installment of Iron Man saw Audi introduce a new commercial which features on US late night and cable TV channels. The ad has been a regular feature on Indian television too. The film was released here on 26th April, 2013. This 30 second commercial ends with Audi’s bright red electric R8 cruising down the highway with a tag line – Audi – Engineered for Iron Man. The film shows Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark driving in an Audi e-tron R8 sports vehicle which Audi made as a limited initial production run last year. On the film front, there are few blink and you’ll miss it scenes with Audi’s involved, but no doubt it’s fun to spot a large number of cars from the four rings’ lineup.
