Mercedes Benz announced the new Sprinter van with a mild facelift and a range of new engines which makes it the first van to meet the future Euro VI emissions standard. Sales are scheduled to begin in June 2013.

Sprinter van comes with enhanced interior and exterior. Apart from
this, it is offered in a new range of engines, which offer best in class
mileage. Bookings will open in June,while deliveries will commence in September 2013.
The new range of engines includes a choice of four and six cylinder units with outputs ranging from 95 hp (70 kW) to 190 hp (140 kW). The performance of diesel engines has remained unchaged. But, the new 1.8L petrol engine with direct injection, now offers 156 hp and is EURO VI compliant. Transmission is taken care by a ECO-Gear six-speed manual transmission or the 7G-TRONIC PLUS seven-speed automatic transmission with lock-up clutch. Mercedes Benz Sprinter van with the BlueEFFICIENCY PLUS efficiency package has reduced fuel consumption to a minimum of 44.4 mpg or 15.4 kmpl (NEDC combined). Price is not revealed yet, it will be disclosed closer to launch dates.
